To calculate the regression factors
you must:
1) Click on the START button;
2) Enter the requested data for the first log. When
you start, a default diameter of 10cm appears, it is possible to modify
this diameter by positioning the cursor in the diameter field;
3) Once the data for the first log has been entered,
click on the NEXT LOG button. The diameter will automatically be increased
by 2 cm. (For example: if you entered 14 cm for the diameter of the
first log, the next diameter will show 16 cm for the second log,...).
It is always possible to change a diameter by positioning the cursor
in the diameter field;
4) Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each log;
5) Once all your logs have been entered, click on
the END button, the regression factors will appear on the bottom of
the screen followed by a summary of all entered logs and the volume
table using the new factors.
At all times it is possible to cancel the process
(click on CANCEL) or to erase THE LOG CURRENTLY
ON THE SCREEN (click on ERASE THIS LOG). Once a log
has been entered (using the NEXT LOG button), it is impossible to
change it's information.
